The Fujian (Pilot) Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and Juhuasuan.com, a group purchase website owned by e-commerce giant Alibaba, reached an agreement to deepen the cooperation in the cross-border e-commerce on July 15.

Under the cooperation deal, the Fujian FTZ will encourage the e-commerce companies in the zone to launch new products and services on Alibaba’s e-commerce platforms, and provide favorable policies to the e-shop owners recommended by the e-commerce giant to settle in the FTZ.

As the first cooperation project by Juhuasuan.com with a domestic FTZ, the partnership aims to bring more and better Taiwan products and services to the mainland consumers and increase cross-border trade and cooperation.

To introduce the new initiative, the e-commerce platform has launched a series of promotion activities from July 15 to 17, including 199-yuan return cruise tickets between Pingtan and Taipei.
