Two cold fronts are forecast to affect Pingtan, Fujian province, this week, bringing rains, gales and low temperatures, said the local weather bureau on Nov 22.

The first cold front arrived on Nov 24 with significant rainfall and lasted until Nov 26. The temperature dropped to 13 C at lowest and 15 C at highest.

The second cold front followed closely and will bring gales of up to force 10, said the bureau.

The fallout of the two cold fronts will be over by Nov 28 and the temperature will continue to drop, with the lowest at 10 C and highest at 15 C. The bureau advised citizens to stay warm outdoors.
