Local customs authorities in Pingtan recently inspected and cleared a batch of 7,114.5 liters of dry red wine imported from Spain.

It is the first time that the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone has imported wine, said cqn.com.cn, China's only authoritative news portal on quality inspection.

The Pingtan office of the Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has confirmed the standards required for the sampling, inspection and record keeping of all imported food, said the website.
