Pingnan enhances agricultural product monitoring

Ten vehicles that monitor agricultural product quality were delivered to 10 towns in Pingnan county, Fujian province, on Sept 30, as a measure to guarantee the quality and safety of agricultural products.

Agriculture is a pillar industry in Pingnan that helps local villagers make money. The county has allocated special funds to promote modern agriculture this year. Agricultural monitoring cars in towns are set to enhance the quality and safety control in planting alpine vegetables and edible mushrooms. In the future, equipment for detecting pesticide residue will also come into operation in Pingnan's towns and villages.
