Pingnan to promote non-state-owned enterprises

Pingnan is planning an eco-industrial park as part of its efforts to build an emerging industrial city,ndwww.cn reported.

Pingnan invested $150 million in 39 industrial projects last year, marking an increase of 50.1 percent compared with 2012. A total of 23 projects were completed and put into production, and 7 enterprises were approved as Fujian Province Key Back-up Enterprises.

Additionally, the trademark of Pingnan Huize Long Wine was recognized in 2013 as one of China’s well-known trademarks, which is seen as a great achievement for Pingnan.

The city will aim to promote new material and new energy industries this year, and will also aim to optimize the integration of the stone industry and wood processing industry, and develop the motor and electronic industries.
