Wanshou silk originates from Hefei, Anhui province and is a solid and long-tested silk product. Wanshou silk has been around since both the Tang and Song Dynasty. Lu you, Song Dynasty poet once described the silk to be as light as a feather.

Wanshou silk got its name when local officials brought this silk as tribute to the Ming Empire in 1753. Quality materials combined exquisite workmanship contributed to its beauty. It is 7 meters in length with blue and white checks on it and is greatly enjoyed both in China and abroad.
