The Golden Summit Scenic Spot includes Golden Hall, Scripture Hall, Purple Gold City, Pilgrimage Palace, the Yuan Dynasty Bronze Hall and many other ancient buildings on the sacred road to Taihe Palace. Other historic sights are the Central Taoist Temple, the Yellow Dragon Cavity and the First, Second and Third Celestial Gates.
Here there are beautiful peaks and cliffs and a thick forest facing the gully. It’s quite impressive among the 36 crags in Wudang Mountain for its tranquil and spectacular surroundings.
The Prince Slope Architectural Complex was meticulously designed in accordance with the legend of the god of Zhenwu, the prince of Jingle Kingdom, who wanted to ascend to heaven.
Purple Heaven Palace is a historical site designated for state protection. The mountain behind the palace is named Zhanqi, which literally means a fluttering flag in the breeze. The shape of the mountain looks like an unfolded flag.
Xiaoyao Valley is the only overwater tourism and ecological tourist area among Wudang Mountain’s scenic spots.
The Xuanyue Archway Scenic Spot lies to the north of Wudang Mountain, consisting of such sights such as Xuanyue Archway, the Immortal Meeting Palace, the Yuanhe Temple and the Jade Void Palace.
Development of the Taiji Lake tourist area will comprise 67 square kilometers with a total investment of 10 billion yuan and will be completed by 2013.
