Lingbi Stone is named after the place where it comes from, Lingbi county in Anhui province. There are three kinds of Lingbi Stone: Qishi, Qingshi and marble. Qishi bears natural sprits and sounds beautiful when struck, so Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty called it “the best stone in the world”. Qingshi, which can only be found in Lingbi county, is dark green and sounds beautiful when struck. The stone has the nickname “Bayin Stone”. As early as 4,000 years ago, people were using it to make musical instruments. Art works made of crystal Qingshi and marble plank materials are sold in more than 20 countries and regions.
