Guo Weimin, vice minister of the State Council Information Office, attended the opening with Ross Terrill, a noted researcher at Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University. Guo said Xi's book has sold more than five and a half million copies in China, and political followers in Washington wanting to learn more about the Chinese president and his thoughts could boost those sales.

"The Chinese dream is a kind of catchword. Lots of people around the world are paying more attention to the Chinese dream, and this Chinese dream is a major concept put forward by Xi since he assumed office," Guo said.
