NUVEM

Ricardo prepared some of his typical dishes for us. Clams (Chef’s style),Clams with pork dices (Alentejena pork style), Portuguese steak, a Chef salad (Portuguese beef & cheese, bacan, tomatoes, salad,…), Portuguese fish (Bakkeljouw) and some delicious Patte negra (original Portuguese ham). On top of that we had the house wine, Terra Berra, which married perfectly with the delicious plates we had.

The place is nicely decorated, sober, with some nice candle lights and some calm background music, enabling us to have nice conversations with the Chef. A sure sign of authenticity and quality is the gathering of the Portuguese community in this place.

After dinner, we suggest you go have a last drink on the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy the view over Houhai Lake and the Bell Tower. They have a large room on the second floor where you can come with a group, and they have plans to open a nice bar in the basement.

A place definitely worth checking out.
