Girl, 17, jumps to death after row with classmates

A 17-year-old student jumped to her death from the sixth floor of her dormitory at a vocational school in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, after five classmates allegedly beat her, Huashang Daily reported.

The girl came from a rural area in Sanmenxia, Henan province. After completing senior high school, she started her studies at the vocational school in the fall. When school ended on Dec 3, she was about to lock a classroom but found several female classmates were still in the room. She waited outside, but when her classmates came out they said she had been monitoring their conversation, and a row broke out.

Early next day, she jumped from the dormitory after writing on a wall that the five classmates had beaten her, and said she would donate her organs to people in need, the report said.
