Large Medium SmallA new case of H7N9 avian flu was confirmed in Zhejiang province, China Central Television reported on Dec 6.
The 30-year-old patient, surnamed Yu, was a resident in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province.
He was diagnosed as having been infected by the virus on Thursday, and was receiving treatment in a hospital in Hangzhou.
