Only 22 percent of 770 surveyed high-end shopping malls in China offer facilities to change diapers, a report said on Thursday.

The report, based on findings from 15 cities, said 169 out of 770 surveyed shopping malls had baby care facilities and of these, 156 offered diaper-changing tables.

A smart phone application that locates baby care rooms attracted 15,300 registered users within 30 days after it was launched, the report said.

The survey by Huggies, a diaper brand owned by Kimblerly Clark, also found that Shanghai's Nanjing Road is the high street with most demand for baby care and diaper-changing facilities.
