With the team title secured, Wang will now turn her attention to the women's singles, where she could potentially meet Republic of Korea star An Se-young in the final. "We're the top two seeds, so if we meet, it means it is the final," Wang said. "I won't think too much about that beforehand. Instead, I will think about the match in front of me. Before the Asian Games, we prepared well. Now it's time to showcase that."

For Wang, the most memorable moment of the day came after Chen secured the decisive third point.

"It was very emotional, especially after Chen Yufei got the last point. We all rushed to the table to celebrate — that was the best moment of today," Wang said.

Chen had been determined to clinch the tie before she even stepped onto the court.

"The mindset beforehand was that it would be best to finish the match in my hands, and that's how it went," Chen said.

"Before going out, my coach told me: 'It's fine, our second doubles pair will definitely win.' I said: 'No need, it will definitely be 3-0.'"

"I was very happy at the end that I could be the one — the person who secured the crucial winning point," Chen said.

"I felt so blessed, seeing everyone running towards me with happy faces. At that moment, it felt just like a movie in slow motion, seeing everyone's sheer joy and excitement."
