13 dead in mudslide in Jiangxi province

Thirteen people have been confirmed dead as of 9 am on Thursday following a mudslide in Suichuan county, Jiangxi province, Xinhua News Agency reported.
The mudslide occurred around 4 am on Saturday in Mingkeng village, Gaoping township of Suichuan, triggered by days of torrential rain brought on by Typhoon Saudel, the 18th typhoon of the year.
