NBA's Indiana Pacers launch hunt for new Chinese name

NBA team Indiana Pacers is calling for a campaign to find a new Chinese name to replace the long-standing Chinese translation "Buxingzhe", which literally means "walkers" in Chinese.
Ted Wu, executive vice-president of Basketball Operations and assistant general manager of the Indiana Pacers said the current translation appears to be "too slow" for the squad.
"We're anything but walkers — we're not slow, we're not losers," Wu explained to fans at a warm-up session for the NBA Shanghai Basketball Festival on Sunday. "Our play style is the complete opposite of everything the name is about. We move the ball, we play in transition, we have the fastest point guard in the league. This is our play style. And we need a name to reflect that."
