Chinese climbers dominate at Asia Youth Series in Jiangxi

China's Mu Zerun was the only athlete to win two gold medals at the inaugural World Climbing Asia Youth Series Quannan 2026, helping the host nation finish atop the medal table with eight gold, six silver and five bronze medals.
The four-day competition concluded on Sunday in Quannan county, Jiangxi province, attracting 174 young climbers from eight countries and regions.
South Korea finished second with two gold, two silver and three bronze medals, while Japan collected one gold, four silver and four bronze medals. Thailand secured one gold medal.
Mu claimed both the U17 lead and bouldering titles to become the only double champion of the event.
