Tickets go on sale for Shanghai's tennis showcase

Tickets have gone on sale for the 2026 Rolex Shanghai Masters, the only ATP 1000 tournament in the Asia-Pacific region, which will take place from Oct 5 to 18 at Qizhong Tennis Center.

As one of the nine Masters 1000 tournaments worldwide, the Rolex Shanghai Masters features the world’s top 100 men’s singles players and awards 1,000 ranking points to the singles champion.

“Players love coming to Shanghai. They always have,” said Alison Lee, executive vice-president of ATP International.

“For two years in-a-row, players have awarded Shanghai with the ATP Standards of Excellence recognition.”

Zhang Weiyao, vice-general manager of Shanghai Juss Sports & Entertainment Group, said that this year’s event will feature an inaugural masters carnival, running from Oct 1 to 4 for China’s National Day holiday.

The tournament will also expand beyond theQizhong stadium for the first time, withthe men’s singles draw ceremony tobe held at SuheMixC World on Oct 5.

The diversified ticket sales systemincludescommuter-friendly double tickets with a shuttle bus service, family packages, travel bundles with accommodation for out-of-town visitors, and crossover tickets with Shanghai Disneyland and the F1 Chinese Grand Prix.

“One of the things I always enjoy most about coming to Shanghai is seeing the fans,” said Roger Federer, the Icon Athlete of the Rolex Shanghai Masters.

Federer will return to Qizhong on Oct 16 for a celebrity doubles exhibition with fellow tennis legends.
