Beijing launches month-long New Year cultural season

On Wednesday, Beijing launched a month-long New Year cultural program combining performances, markets, and digital experiences.

The "With You in Beijing" 2026 New Year Cultural Season will run until March 3. Hosted by Capital Culture and Technology Group, the initiative spans multiple venues and extends to surrounding communities, offering a mix of theater, public-space events, online activities, and traditional cultural workshops.

These activities aim to provide residents and tourists with an immersive holiday experience.

The events will be held in commercial hubs, local communities, and transportation centers. The season will create a "one-stop" service scenario that integrates culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and exhibitions.
