China set to host World Conference of Science Journalists in 2029
China will host the World Conference of Science Journalists for the first time in 2029, aiming to promote the participation of Chinese science journalists in global science and technology governance and strengthen China's international influence in this field.
The Chinese Society for Science and Technology Journalism applied for the hosting rights at the World Conference of Science Journalists, which recently concluded in Pretoria, South Africa.
Supported by UNESCO, the conference is a high-level event organized by the World Federation of Science Journalists to bring together professionals from the global science journalism community to share landmark cases of scientific reporting and practical experiences.
As one of the founding members of the federation, the China Association for Science and Technology News has long been actively participating in conference activities and will continue to promote the influence and discourse-building of Chinese science journalists on the international stage.
