With the new arrival, the Lanzhou Wildlife Zoo is now home to five giant pandas. As Manlan is a first-time mother, a professional care team has been providing 24-hour monitoring to ensure the mother and cub remain healthy.
"The cub is in good health and developing steadily," said zookeeper An Xiaojuan.
