Expert condemns DPP's obstruction of V-Day participation

Professor Yuann Jeu-jeng from Taiwan University was invited to attend the upcoming V-Day military parade on Sept 3 in Beijing. Upon arriving in Beijing on Sunday, he said "The more the Democratic Progressive Party tries to stop us, the more determined we are to come." In a previous interview with China Daily, he said the DPP's actions are essentially aimed at weakening "national identity".
