Estee Lauder's pink ribbon breast-health campus tour concludes in Shanghai

The pink ribbon breast cancer awareness campus campaign, co-hosted by the China Women's Development Foundation and School of Management of Fudan University with support from the cosmetic brand Estee Lauder Companies, wrapped up at Shanghai's Jiangwan Stadium on Friday, marking the conclusion of the 2025 tour.
Over 300 Fudan students joined the pink-ribbon health run while physicians from the International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital of the China welfare institute, provided breast health education and taught easy exercise routines to promote wellness integration.
Launched this year, the campus tour visited top universities in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, reaching thousands of faculty and students. Through expert lectures and fun runs, it shifted participation from passive awareness to active engagement, empowering attendees to share health knowledge with female relatives and build personal health literacy.

"May this event inspire stress relief, embracing health, and the spread of 'early screening, regular exercise, and proactive prevention' to advocate for women's health nationwide," said Cui Lina, secretary general of the China Women's Development Foundation.
This year marks the second of a three-year collaboration between the group and the foundation. Over the past year, the program provided breast screenings for over 1,600 women and assistance to more than 1,500 patients in Heilongjiang, Anhui, and Sichuan provinces.
Launched by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1992, the pink ribbon campaign—Estee Lauder's largest CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative—has raised over 941 million yuan ($131 million) globally for breast cancer research, education, and care, including $103 million via the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fund breakthrough research.
