Former marathon world record holder Haile Gebrselassie said that he could have run under 2 hours in 2008 if he had been given running shoes made with today's technology. He shared this insight at a racing shoe unveiling event hosted by German sportswear company Adidas in Shanghai on March 17. Chinese track and field athlete Xu Shuangshuang also presented at the event.
