China-foreign co-produced documentaries showcased at Fuzhou festival
The festival attracted representatives from 11 international documentary film festivals and exhibitions, as well as professionals from production and distribution companies, renowned directors, producers and media platforms from countries such as China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Vietnam, Brazil and New Zealand.
In addition to screenings, the festival featured project presentations, thematic discussions, cultural research activities and in-depth dialogues and exchanges on the planning, creation and distribution of documentary films.
Paul Lewis, conference director of the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers, praised the festival as a significant industry event with global influence, professional standards and authority.
