Guideline encourages overseas returnees to set up businesses in China
Ten central departments recently released a guideline encouraging overseas students to return to the mainland for work and entrepreneurship, and to play their role in the higher-quality progression of the nation's modernization.
The 10 central departments include the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology. The guideline stated that the nation encourages overseas returnees to start their own businesses on the mainland and enjoy more policy support for entrepreneurs.
The guideline also urged authorities to standardize the verification of overseas returnees' academic degrees and streamline procedures for their entry and exit to the mainland.
Authorities of all levels are also required to better their services by improving the working evaluation system for overseas returnees and securing their social insurances.
