China Coast Guard carries out patrol in waters surrounding Huangyan Island

The China Coast Guard conducted a law enforcement patrol in the territorial waters and surrounding areas of China's Huangyan Island in the South China Sea on Saturday.
In a brief statement, the CCG said it has intensified patrols in the waters surrounding the island since November to strengthen control over relevant areas and safeguard the country's territorial sovereignty, as well as its maritime rights and interests.
