During the "Joint Sword-2024B" drills around Taiwan, the CNS Liaoning aircraft carrier ventured into the Western Pacific with air force bombers for joint exercises. It established a strategic stance against external interference and placed internal pressure on "Taiwan independence" separatists, explained Zhang Chi, a professor at the PLA National Defense University, in an interview with China Daily.
