Global journalists, influencers explore legacy of Confucius

It was an unforgettable experience for Russian student Kapustina Elizaveta, whose deep love for traditional Chinese culture brought her to the celebration for the 2,575th anniversary of Confucius' birth in his hometown of Qufu, Shandong province.

Elizaveta, a student at Shandong Normal University, is an online influencer who is eager to share her cultural experience in China on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. One of her most popular posts recently was about her experience at a memorial ceremony honoring Confucius.

From Sept 27 to 29, Elizaveta participated in the "Global Influencers Appreciate the Wisdom of Confucius" media tour along with other influencers from countries such as the United States, Egypt, Italy and Morocco.
