For example, the Long Baseline Positioning System has revolutionized the accuracy of positioning, navigation, and labeling of positions, making mapping underwater terrain more precise. The researchers also used a specialized device to pump and blow the cultural relics and key areas of interest, aiding in the careful extraction and preservation of artifacts from the deep-sea environment. A new kind of submersible enabled the team to precisely extract cultural relics from the seabed, ensuring delicate handling and retrieval of artifacts for further study and conservation.
