Xiamen University's vision for Chinese-style modernization from an overseas perspective

At the recent "Chinese-style Modernization from an Overseas Perspective" forum held in Xiamen from April 6 to 9, Zhang Rong, the secretary of the Party Committee of Xiamen University, emphasized that Chinese-style modernization not only signifies the path to national strength and rejuvenation but is also crucial for global progress and harmony. Xiamen University's Institute for Chinese-style Modernization, swiftly established to delve into the profound aspects of this development, aims to comprehensively explore the theoretical and practical dimensions of Chinese-style modernization, highlighting its significance and global value.

The forum convened globally renowned overseas sinologists and influential young sinologists to foster academic research, shared visions, and collective action, with a focus on regional studies and mutual learning in civilization exchanges. Its goal was to facilitate dialogue in humanities and contribute to the dissemination of the Chinese voice and narratives.

Xiamen University hosted the forum to showcase China's achievements in Chinese-style modernization, providing international communities with a deeper understanding of China's developmental changes, particularly in Chinese-style modernization.
