Driver apprehended after car accident injures 11 in Guangzhou

Eleven people were injured after a car collided with pedestrians and electric bicycles in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on Tuesday morning, the local traffic police said.
The collision occurred at around 9 am in the city's Yuexiu district.
Police officers were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital for treatment.
The police said the 49-year-old driver, surnamed Huang, has been apprehended, and the accident is still under further investigation and handling.
