Beijing's rental housing campaign in full swing for back-to-work season
Beijing began its 2024 housing rental service campaign on Wednesday for this year's back-to-work season. This campaign is the fifth iteration of the service, and for the first time, affordable rental housing is included.
Forty housing rental enterprises have contributed 180,000 units/rooms to the program.
Urban operation support personnel, new residents, and young people returning to Beijing can enjoy substantial benefits such as reduced rent and waived deposits.
The city has established a comprehensive rental housing management system in recent years to meet its diverse housing needs.
The system particularly benefits delivery personnel, sanitation workers, security, cleaning staff, new residents and young people.
This year, under the joint guidance of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other relevant departments, the Beijing Real Estate Agency Association has set up an online platform to facilitate supply and demand services.
They have strengthened their collaboration with associations from other industries, such as express delivery and catering. The partnership will include special offline events to bring housing resources and services directly to enterprises and recruitment events, which will run until the end of April.
