Sichuan art exhibition unveils 200 dazzling New Year paintings

An art exhibition on New Year paintings that showcases the moderately prosperous life of the Chinese people kicked off on Friday in Mianzhu, Sichuan province.
The exhibition features nearly 200 outstanding New Year paintings from all over the country. The works cover a wide range of forms, including woodblock prints, folk paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, watercolor paintings, paper-cut collages, integrated paintings and digital paintings created using new techniques and methods.
The exhibition will run through Feb 24, the Lantern Festival in the Chinese lunar calendar.
