Central government channels funds into supporting struggling or eldery Party members
The central government has recently channeled financial funds to extend regards to elderly Party members and those Party members in poor living conditions.
As reported by the Xinhua News Agency on Friday, the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee has allocated 385 million yuan ($53.5 million) from the nation's Party membership dues, and is using the funds to visit and extend regards to Party members and comrades of old ages, as well as members currently facing difficulties.
The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee required Party organizations of all levels to make thoughtful visiting plans and strengthen supervision over the funds, to make sure that the elderly Party members and those in financial difficulties can receive the subsidies before the Spring Festival holiday, which will fall on mid-February.
