30,000 coupons issued to stimulate spending at Beijing Ice and Snow Festival

More than 30,000 coupons will be issued to stimulate spending during the 2023-2024 Beijing Ice and Snow Festival, which kicked off over the weekend.

According to the city government, this is the 10th Beijing Ice and Snow Festival in the capital. All residents can use the coupons when purchasing skating tickets in designated stadiums.

The Ice and Snow Festival will last through the end of February 2024, covering New Year's Day, Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival. The major shopping centers in Beijing will hold various cultural events to boost consumption further.
