Chinese pavilion to host more than 100 events on sidelines of COP28

The Chinese pavilion at Expo City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will host more than 100 events of the sidelines of COP28, the UN Climate Change Conference that is scheduled to open later on Thursday and run until Dec 12, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said on Thursday.
The pavilion, featuring two meeting areas and one exhibition area, is on the first floor of the Chinese delegation's office.
Activities focusing on energy transition, digital development, green finance and China's policies and actions on climate change will be held on nine days with different themes, including Opening Day, Youth Day, Mitigation Day, and Technology and Finance Day.
Location-specific sessions featuring Chinese cities such as Shanghai and Shenzhen, and industry-specific sessions on sectors including construction and power generation will also be held, the ministry said.
