8 killed in China road accident

LANZHOU -- Eight people were killed in a road accident in Northwest China's Gansu province on Friday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 8 am in Minqin county of Wuwei city, where a minibus and a pickup truck collided, leaving eight dead and three injured. The injured were rushed to a local hospital.
Cause of the accident is being investigated.
