China sees robust growth in airline passengers and airfreight shipments

China's civil aviation sector has recovered robustly this year, with the latest data showing that 520 million passenger trips were handled from January to October, a year-on-year increase of 135.8 percent, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said on Monday.
It said 56.05 million passenger trips were made last month, up 252 percent year-on-year.
The country's civil aviation sector handled 675,000 metric tons of cargo last month, a year-on-year increase of 37.7 percent.
