3 trapped after roof of gymnasium collapses in Heilongjiang

Three people were trapped after the roof of a gymnasium collapsed on Monday evening in Huanan county of Jiamusi, Heilongjiang province, according to a report of the China Central Television.

Rescue operations are underway at the Yuecheng Gymnasium, according to the report.

Weather authorities in both Huanan and Jiamusi issued red alerts for blizzard, the most severe warning in China's weather alert system. It is not clear if the snowfall contributed to the collapse.
