Kindergarten teachers in Shenyang fired for feeding vomit to a child
Kindergarten teachers who fed a child vomit in Shenyang, Liaoning province are facing dismissal, according to a statement released by the education bureau of Heping district on Friday.
Recently, parents posted online alleging that kindergarten teachers forced their child to eat pumpkin after lunch. When the child vomited, the teacher forced the child to consume the vomit.
On Tuesday, the Heping district education bureau and the public security department conducted an on-site investigation into the issue related to Maluwan kindergarten. They confirmed that the parents' claim was true.
The education bureau ordered the director of the kindergarten and the teachers involved to apologize to the parents, and downgraded the kindergarten. The kindergarten was required to dismiss the teachers involved and immediately carry out comprehensive rectification work.
The district education bureau will conduct a special inspection throughout the district to improve teacher ethics and professionalism, and prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
