China's largest assembled subway station finishes installation

BEIJING -- China's largest assembled subway station, Longxing Station, on line 16 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, finished installation on Friday, according to the China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC).
The total length of the station is 298 meters, the CRCC said, adding that the entire station consists of 595 "building blocks" with the roof weighing 128.8 tonnes.
The roof is the heaviest single component of all the assembled subway stations in China, and the station is the largest assembled subway station in the country, according to the company.
