Countries gather to discuss gibbon protection

The International Union for Conservation of Nature, the China Exploration & Research Society (Hong Kong) and Indonesia's SwaraOwa Primate Conservation Foundation also introduced their new gibbon conservation initiatives.

"Gibbons are one of the closest ape species to us. Our human evolution comes from the ancestors of apes, so we have the responsibility to protect them," said Zhang.
