Chinese company completes road section in Serbia

The section is a high priority for Serbia, as it will enable a fast connection between Belgrade and the E-763 Expressway and create a short link between Belgrade and the Adriatic Sea, according to Xinhua News Agency.

Not counting the new section, the Chinese company has built four sections of expressway, including one that was put into operation in 2019 and one that is under construction. The total length is 131 km.

Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic attended the opening ceremony.
