More than 8,000 hectares of cherry trees in Fa'er township of Liupanshui, Guizhou province, are now at their best for viewing.

The warm, moist climate brings the cherry crop earlier in the township than in other areas, and farmers grab the market opportunity.

This year's first crop of cherries can be picked in the middle of March, which is expected to help more than 5,000 households earn an average of 12,000 yuan ($1,736) in annual income.
