Three people were killed in a stabbing allegedly because of a personal grudge in Dongguan, Guangdong province, on Monday afternoon.
The suspect surnamed Yin, a 38-year-old male, approached and verbally confronted a man surnamed Zeng, 32, over a personal grudge in the Shangjiao community of Chang'an township. He then stabbed Zeng, according to the Chang'an branch of the Dongguan Public Security Bureau.
Two other men — Zhang, 29, and Wei, 39, — were also stabbed by Yin when they tried to stop the fight, the police said. Yin was taken into custody at the scene later.
Zeng and Zhang were dead when the ambulances arrived. Wei died on the way to the hospital.
