China and South Korea hold seminar about building happy families and harmonious society


A women's seminar was held online on Friday to discuss building happy families and creating a harmonious society to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Korea.
Shen Yueyue, president of the All-China Women's Federation, said via a video link that the cooperation between China and South Korea will certainly usher in a better future.
She hopes that the two sides will take the 30th anniversary as a new starting point, deepen exchanges and cooperation on issues such as family, women and children and support women to play a greater role in family happiness and social harmony.
Kim Hyunsook, minister of Gender Equality and Family of Republic of Korea, introduced South Korea's experience in coping with the low birth rate. She appreciates China's achievements in family building. She said South Korea will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the All-China Women's Federation and make new contributions to promoting friendship.
