Upholding social responsibility for more than 15 years in China
Alongside its business development, Mercedes-Benz remains committed to supporting sustainability in China, and is constantly expanding its social responsibility efforts here.
This includes a vocational training program that has been in place since 2006, benefitting over 10,000 students, thus supporting the future talent pool for China's automotive industry.
In 2007, Mercedes-Benz started its corporate social responsibility activities in China with the China World Heritage Site Conversation and Management Projects in cooperation with UNESCO.

In 2010, the Mercedes-Benz Star Fund was established by Mercedes-Benz in partnership with the China Youth Development Foundation and dealers nationwide.
So far, the Star Fund has benefited more than 1.5 million people in China, contributing to the nation's sustainable development and social prosperity in education, culture, arts, environmental protection and rural revitalization.
