In Shanxi, farmers harvest red fireweed

In the golden days of autumn, farmers in Caojiagou village of Liulin county, Shanxi province, are welcoming this year's bumper harvest of fireweed, or kochia Scoparia.

Fireweed, a kind of grassy bush that takes on a bright red color in autumn, can be used to make brooms after it is dried.
