Forest fire breaks out in China's Yunnan

KUNMING -- A fire broke out in a forest in the city of Dali, a popular tourist destination in Southwest China's Yunnan province, on Tuesday morning, local authorities said.
As of 11:30 am Tuesday, more than 650 people and a helicopter had been mobilized to put out the forest fire near Dali's Hehua village, according to the headquarters of forest and grassland fire prevention and control in Dali.
Investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
